Small on purpose
Conecting is a Kolkata-based agency that runs one North Bengal route very well instead of forty routes badly. Here's who we are and how a booking actually works.

Five friends, one route, no surprises.
Conecting started with one route and a lot of weekends spent on it. Kolkata to NJP on the night train, then Sittong, Tinchuley, Lamahatta, Kurseong and Darjeeling in a private car with families we'd come to know.
Most complaints about hill trips come down to three things: the hotel wasn't what was promised, the car wasn't what was promised, and nobody picked up the phone once the money was paid. So we built the company around fixing exactly those three things.
We're small on purpose. One person handles your trip from the first WhatsApp to the drop at NJP, and the homestays and drivers you'll meet are the same people we'd send our own parents to.
How a booking works
Four steps, one person, no surprises.
- You send your dates
Use the form or WhatsApp. Tell us who's travelling and what you care about: views, food, fewer steps, a late flight.
- We reply with a written quote
Within 2 hours, 9 am to 9 pm. It lists the stays, the vehicle class and every inclusion and exclusion.
- You confirm with a part advance
UPI or bank transfer. That locks the stays and the car. The balance is due before pickup, never on the road.
- We send driver details the day before
Name, phone and vehicle number. During the trip you message the same person you've been talking to.
Want to talk it through first?
Message us on WhatsApp. We answer the awkward questions too.
